Paula has experienced the challenges of The Invisible Job both as a mother working full-time (in an international career in Pharma and university) and as a stay at home mother.
Using her scientific background, the book combines extensive global research with insights from her interviews with women from the UK and Ireland on their personal experience of
The Invisible Job.
Paula grew up in Ireland, where she studied pharmacy at Trinity College Dublin and business at UCD. While much of her career was based in London, she has also lived and worked in Ireland, France, Germany, Australia, South Africa and Malawi. She now lives in Dublin, where she is (most days!) happily married with two children. In addition to gender equality, she is also a strong advocate for climate justice.
